Engine Alignment
Engine alignment is vital in protecting the engine. Misalignments resulting in vibrations are potentially able to cause bearing failures and significant damage to the engine components.
KMS operate the very latest laser alignment equipment used for the alignment of machinery and checking cylinder block and bed plate bores.
If required, our trained engineers can undertake replacement of engine mounts prior and during any alignment checking.
Engine Foundation Services
Following the laser alignment KMS will prepare the engine seating, install the appropriate dams and supply and pour the Chockfast® resin.
Classification requirements & planning are all provided and when the resin has cured all the necessary drilling and reaming of fitted bolts will be accommodated.
