Cylinder Liner Repair
The cylinder liner is firstly cleaned around the top collar and
crack tested using (Magnetic particle inspection) M.P.I. crack test equipment,
if the liner is not cracked then it is finally cleaned ready for the honing apparatus.
Finally the liners are calibrated, results recorded and prepared for shipment. All our workshop equipment is portable or in the case of the honing rig duplicated and can be on site at any time.
Our workshop diamond honing rig handles liners up to 420mm bore.
Chris Marine CPL grinding equipment
is available should any landing faces need grinding.
